With reference to Sir Matthew

Nathan's Despatch No. 70 of the 5th. April, 1907, I have

the honour to forward for Your Lordship's information 6

copies of the Report of the Directors on the Widows and

Orphans' Pension Fund for the year 1907, from which Your

Lordship will observe that the nett sum contributed to the

Fund during the year was $35,679.21, that $4,347.80 was

paid in pensions, and that the balance of assets over

liabilities on 31st. December, 1907, amounted to

$317,475.92.
